Abhishek Kumar, MD, FSIR
Interventional Radiology AdvisorDr. Abhishek Kumar is a dual board-certified interventional radiologist and a nationally recognized leader in minimally invasive, image-guided therapies. He was elected a Fellow of the Society of Interventional Radiology (FSIR), one of the field's highest honors, recognizing outstanding contributions to the specialty, and holds national leadership roles within SIR, including service on multiple society committees. He maintains an active research portfolio spanning interventional oncology, endovascular device innovation, and embolization with over 50 peer-reviewed publications and frequent invited lectureships at national and international conferences. Dr. Kumar serves as Site Principal Investigator for the RESORB trial, a multicenter randomized controlled study evaluating genicular artery embolization for osteoarthritic knee pain. As Interventional Radiology Advisor to Novagen, he provides clinical insight to guide the development of next-generation image-guided technologies.
